What the Trust can offer.

A wide range of work experience placements are available, they are between 2- 3 days. All placements reflect upon the requests and requirements of each individual student while taking into account any relevant age restrictions, eligibility and restrictions that may be applicable for certain areas.  Placements are available for students aged 14 years and above, this includes people who are in higher education.

What would you choose?

Work experience at the Trust can include observing and shadowing clinical staff in a nursing or midwifery setting, visiting our extensive laboratories or experiencing the role of an occupational therapist.  You may even be eligible to accompany a doctor on a ward or shadow a surgeon in theatre depending on age 16 +.  We also have administration areas such as our finance, HR or communications departments, we still need plumbers, painters and; decorators; it's not just about clinical roles and professions.
